NCCN organized a ceremony to release book –Dr K.B. Rokaya: Life and Thoughts

NCCN organized a ceremony in Kathmandu on 5 April 2008 to release a book titled "Dr. K.B. Rokay: Life and Thoughts" The book tells about  the Dr. Rokaya's life story, his struggle for education, his interviews, articles, press statements and photographs related to Dr. Rokaya's life and work. achievements of NCCN; specially its role in peace building and inter-religious cooperation.  

 

The central committee member of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and honorable minister for Women, Children and social welfare Pampha Bhusal was the Chief Guest on occasion. Releasing the book, minister Bhusal praised the role played Dr. Rokaya in the peace process of Nepal.

She added that Dr. Rokaya's struggle for education can be a source of inspiration for the students to get success in their academic life.  

 

The Book "Dr. K.B. Rokaya : Life and Thoughts" published by NCCN and released on 5 April 2008 from the hand of honorable Minister for women, Children and Social welfare Pampha Bhusal

 

On the occasion, the leaders of various religious communities, human rights and civil society activists and journalists expressed their views about the content and significance of the book.
